About The Author
Dana Willhite is a Christian, teacher, writer, and animal lover. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. It took her ten years to earn that degree because she worked her way through college, sometimes three jobs at a time. Her teaching has been in Texas. Late in 2021, an infection went sepsis and caused Dana to get very sick. She was hospitalized and various doctors said she wouldn’t make it. So, all of her belongings and house were given away or sold without her knowing. Dana was not coherent. Others did what they thought was best. She did flatline, but made it. Dana was put into a nursing home/rehab. Three months later she woke up and was coherent. She had no idea where she was (another town), what was going on, or how she got there. Dana was told she’d never walk again. She was in there almost six months. Since being out, she has learned to walk and talk again. She drives, works out, etc. Dana is doing great, lives on her own, and is living and loving life… as if nothing ever happened!!! And, she is very grateful.
